Maria joined the Skill and Ability team as an Inclusion Specialist in June 2025. Maria attended Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education.

Mackenzie started at Skill Ability as an inclusion specialist in May 2025. She has always had a passion for helping others and advocating for equal opportunities for everyone in and out of the workplace.

John has been an Inclusive Specialist at Skill and Ability Education since October 2024. He attended Eastern Michigan University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Social Work.

Michael started working at Skill and Ability in February 2024 as a vocational support coach. Prior to Skill and Ability, he also worked in the customer service field, as a preschool teacher and a behavior technician.

Gary started with Skill and Ability Education in the summer of 2020 as a contingent vocational support (job coach), providing community-based job assessments, job coaching support, and summer work experiences.

Hailey started as an Inclusion Specialist at Skill and Ability Education in December 2024. Prior to working with Skill and Ability,

Kiki began working at Skill and Ability Education in March 2024 as a Job Development Coordinator, assisting clients in job placement, work readiness and various aspects of work preparation.

Kim started at Skill & Ability Education in fall of 2019 as a Contingent Job Coach, transitioned to a Vocational Support Coordinator position and is now the Manager of Vocational Support.

Amy co-founded Skill and Ability Education and is the Director of Programming. Amy supports clients and staff, connects with community partners and completes various organizational activities to support moving the mission forward.

Kaley started with Skill & Ability as an Inclusion Specialist in July, 2025. Kaley attended Wayne State University, and she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Education.

Lauren started at Skill & Ability as a contingent vocational coach for the Summer of 2024 and has since rejoined the team as the Program Manager for Job Retention Services.

Maria joined the Skill & Ability team as an Inclusion Specialist in April of 2025. Maria has a background in intensive case management, focused on housing and skill building.

Chelsea started at Skill and Ability as an Inclusion Specialist in November 2024. She has always been interested in helping employees be and feel successful and celebrate the meaningfulness of their work.

Dawn has supported several Skill and Ability programs, including individual and small group work experiences, in addition to supporting the Community Mental Health (CMH) skill building program

Dana started at Skill and Ability as a contingent coach in December 2020. She has been involved with work readiness as well as job development services.

Colleen started at Skill and Ability Education in 2024 as a Job Developer. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with a Minor in Sociology from Eastern Michigan University.

James began working with Skill and Ability Education in the fall of 2021 as a Vocational Support Coordinator, assisting clients in job development, work readiness and various individual/group workshops.

Megan started at Skill & Ability Education in May of 2020 as a contingent job coach, moved into a vocational support coordinator role, and is now the Director of Job Development (since May of 2021)

Ava started at Skill and Ability as an Inclusion Specialist in May 2025. She has been involved with disability services in higher education and employment accommodations for 4 years.

Genoa started at Skill and Ability as an Inclusion Specialist July 2025. Genoa comes to us from Canada where she was a personal support worker in a long-term care facility.

Mixie (They/He) joined the Skill and Ability team in March of 2025 as an Inclusion Specialist. They are always excited to help others and they enjoy...

Yunji Kim serves as an Inclusion Specialist at Skill and Ability Education, where she is dedicated to helping clients gain independence and work towards fulfilling employment.

Alice started at Skill and Ability as an Inclusion Specialist in January 2025. Prior to her time at Skill and Ability, Alice was a special education teacher at a behavioral health center.

LaGarian joined the Skill and Ability team in April of 2020 at the start of the pandemic as a Contingent Coach and later transitioned to an Inclusion Specialist.

Kristin started with Skill and Ability in the summer of 2018 as a contingent job coach, providing job site training, summer work experiences, and work readiness workshops in local high schools.

Star started with Skill and Ability in March of 2024 in a Vocational Support role and has continued to grow into a Program Manager. Born and raised in Ypsilanti, Star graduated from Willow Run High School and Eastern Michigan University.

Steve started at Skill and Ability Education when the organization was founded in 2018. He's currently the Director for Work Readiness, coordinating services for work experiences, evaluations and workshops.
