Dana started at Skill and Ability as a contingent coach in December 2020. She has been involved with work readiness as well as job development services. Dana attended Eastern Michigan University and completed her bachelor’s degree in Communications. After college she went on to work at a technology company for four years before joining Skill and Ability.

Since working at Skill and Ability Education, Dana strives to help clients' voices be heard. She has learned how to advocate for clients through her direct support as well as help clients learn how to self-advocate for their needs.

Dana enjoys spending time with family, friends and her cat, Lt. Dan. She’s also become a retro toy collector, enjoys movies, swimming, and thrift shopping in her spare time.

"Being kind and having a smile can truly go a long way. To let a client know I have their back is important to me, and make sure they feel understood and appreciated for their work. I want clients to feel included. This work has taught me what I can do to support others, because everyone should be heard and seen. We can all work together to support one another.”
