TEAM SPOTLIGHT
Inclusion Specialist: Samantha Guerra

Samantha started working for Skill and Ability as an Inclusion Specialist in February 2026. She believes it is a beautiful thing to give people the support they need to become more independent in their work and lives.
Samantha is originally from Pennsylvania and graduated with a B.S. in Public Health at the University at Albany in New York. During her undergraduate studies, her main focus was how environmentally toxic chemical exposure from multinational companies leads to poor health outcomes for vulnerable and underserved populations.
After earning her bachelors, Samantha served in the Peace Corps for 2 years as a health sector volunteer in rural Peru. The main focus of that services project was to prevent anemia and malnutrition through grassroots, community based work. She returned from Peru in November 2025 and hopes to continue working with Latin American populations in the future.
For pastimes, Samantha loves to knit and crochet! It is a relaxing hobby that she does almost everyday. She also enjoys almost all forms of crafting, likes to read, eat out with friends, and workout (weightlifting and cardio).
"Many employers in contemporary society don't really take the time to understand their employees' needs and find strategies that allow them to perform their jobs effectively."
